The unexamined life is not worth living

Our Belief

When we are children, we all dream of becoming someone memorable, someone who has an impact. Along the way, though, most of us fall victim to settling for mediocrity. I Do It For Her assists those who have re-ignited that spark after a life-changing event to become someone better than they ever thought possible. Our mission is to prove that all it takes is one person, one broken barrier at a time, to change the world.

Our Work

I Do It For Her, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, has two separate purposes:

First, we select and  award individuals with the resources needed to accomplish a lifelong goal, however small or big it might be. It is our belief that the best weapon in a world deterred by the risk of failure are individuals who are willing to accept the challenge to better themselves through adversity.

Second, we also provide financial scholarships to under-privileged youth in the St. Louis, MO, area to receive a meaningful education through a partnership with the KIPP Charter School programs. The value and power of a bright young mind is vital to any facet of life, and should be encouraged, regardless of their economic status.

In both groups, we make it a requirement that each participant gives back to their community and work alongside them to create a lasting and meaningful action that has an impact on those less fortunate.

Our Story

The I Do It For Her Foundation was created in 2012 as the brainchild of founders Adam Casey & Jason Klarfeld. Having volunteered with refugee children in Kosovo, HIV positive families in Kenya and orphans in Southeast Asia, the young & driven duo have set their hearts on changing lives in their own community. Both having been inspired by the love of a single figure in their past, they recognize that a person's comfort zones are the only thing holding them back from greatness.
